Job description

Amazon is building the future of manufacturing and industrial operations, combining robotics technology with world-class software engineering to deliver AI-native solutions at unprecedented scale. We're pioneering high-performance, low-latency systems (<100ms) that coordinate complex robotic operations while continuously learning and improving from production data. You'll work with passionate builders who are customer-obsessed and committed to technical excellence in applying buffer-centric and flow optimization principles to create environments where humans and robots work safely and efficiently together. In this environment, your contributions directly impact Amazon's ability to serve customers worldwide by optimizing entire systems rather than individual components. Key job responsibilities You will build and lead the organization that selects, implements, and operates the ERP platform underpinning our division's manufacturing and supply chain operations. As first hire, you will stand up the team and own the program end-to-end, from platform selection through implementation and into steady-state operations. -

  • Build, lead, and develop the ERP organization from the ground up, hiring and growing a team that scales to 30+ anticipated full-time employees plus a managed contractor workforce. - Define the ERP operating model, organizational structure, and staffing plan across functional, technical (basis/platform), integration, and change management disciplines. -
  • Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, finance, procurement, and quality stakeholders to translate business processes into ERP capabilities and integration requirements (MES, PLM, WMS, and adjacent systems). -
  • Lead systems integrator (SI) selection and manage SI delivery, scope, schedule, and commercial performance. -
  • Own vendor and contract negotiations for ERP licensing/subscription and SI statements of work, including commercial structure, SLAs, and exit terms. -
  • Establish governance, decision rights, and steering committee cadence; manage the program budget and report total cost of ownership, status, and risk to senior leadership. -
  • Create mechanisms that drive timely, accurate delivery, and drive continuous improvement so delivery and operations improve over time.
