  • Directs the daily activities of engineers and technicians responsible for the development and maintenance of data and systems that drive the efficient, consistent, and cost-effective manufacturing of current and future products, ensuring compliance with all required safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinates manufacturing and/or distribution functions for the planning and installation of new products, processes, and manufacturing projects.
  • Manages the allocation of limited resources in support of specific functions (e.g., Manufacturing Engineering, Business Unit Manager) related to budgets, scheduling, tools, and human resources.
  • Understands core competencies and actively seeks to improve underlying science and maintain the discipline of standardized improvement processes. Applies known technologies and processes that further enhance the quality and consistency of manufacturing. Provides technical assistance and troubleshooting; reviews the technical feasibility of proposed solutions to manufacturing issues.
  • Provides support, training, guidance, and professional development advice to employees to ensure their ongoing job satisfaction and career growth.
  • Performs administrative tasks related to performance management, payroll planning, succession planning, training, and development of direct reports to maintain core competencies and develop new skills within the team.
  • Represents Manufacturing Engineering in cross-functional and cross-unit projects when required.

Requirements

  • Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer (degree completed).
  • 6+ years of experience in manufacturing positions.
  • Proficiency in Oracle System, Autocad, SolidWorks.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, line balancing, assembly processes, process documentation, and layout modification.
  • Basic knowledge of   refrigeration systems.
