Job Description "Liferay Developer Technologies: MUST have recent experience with Liferay 6.1 (6.0 is OK): 2yrs+ Additional experience with earlier versions of Liferay or another portal platform: 3yrs+ Java/J2EE: 7yrs+ Spring/Spring MVC/Spring Remoting: 5yrs+ HTML/CSS/JavaScript: 7yrs+ XML: 7yrs+ Web Services (SOAP and REST): 3yrs+ Velocity: 1yr+ jQuery: 1yr+ SQL: 5yrs+ (Oracle a big plus) Hibernate/MyBatis/iBatis: 5yrs+ Linux: 1yrs+ (Red Hat preferred)
- Experience with SiteMinder is a plus Tools: Eclipse/MyEclipse Liferay IDE plugin for Eclipse Spring IDE plugin for Eclipse MUST have ANT (Maven is a plus) JUnit and Spring Mock Subversion (SVN) WinSCP/Putty or similar tools Skills: Good
- Understanding of object oriented programing Good understanding of data structures Good understanding of concurrency Good understanding of software engineering practices including version control, change management, unit testing, and documentation
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to follow technical design
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
