Position

Summary

The Senior Systems Integration & Configuration Engineer serves as a technical leader for Configuration Management (CM), systems integration, documentation control, and cybersecurity readiness across TSIGS platforms—including Picketline, TSPRING, and SCAMP. This role requires expert-level understanding of platform Technical Data Packages (TDPs), the ability to accurately redline and manage technical documentation, and the engineering discipline to ensure configuration baselines remain authoritative and traceable. The ideal candidate combines deep systems engineering experience with modern CM practices, ensuring TSIGS capabilities are properly integrated, validated, secured, and ready to meet mission demands.v Essential Duties and

Responsibilities

As a Senior Systems Integration & Configuration Engineer, you will:

  • Lead and execute tailored Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) and configuration reviews for TSIGS platforms.
  • Manage, maintain, review, and redline Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and engineering documentation in support of system baselines.
  • Partner with the Configuration Management Lead to develop CCB charters, manage workflows, and prepare materials for Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings.
  • Modernize, digitize, and automate CM processes using enterprise tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow to enhance traceability and operational transparency.
  • Integrate hardware and software components across Picketline, TSPRING, SCAMP, and related subsystems, ensuring compliance with capability development documents.
  • Support Information Assurance (IA) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities including STIG updates, scan review, vulnerability remediation, and accreditation documentation.
  • Serve as the technical/architectural lead for the TSIGS Product Support Hub, developing Golden Configurations, system status dashboards, and lifecycle tracking products.
  • Manage enclave-specific security requirements such as SAAR submissions, ports/protocols (PPS) requests, and network access documentation.
  • Coordinate closely with DEVCOM SMEs, developers, security teams, and sustainment personnel to ensure systems remain authorized, compliant, and mission-ready.

Requirements

  • Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI (CI Polygraph preferred/required based on network access)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field is desired.
  • 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, systems integration, or configuration management.
  • Hands-on experience with SIGINT or TSIGS-relevant systems/platforms.
  • Proficiency with CM tools and Agile toolsets (JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow).
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, RMF processes, and STIG implementation. Preferred:
  • Experience supporting DEVCOM, C5ISR, INSCOM, or similar DoD engineering organizations.
  • Familiarity with government documentation standards, CDRL/ISR deliverables, and audit traceability.
  • Background with RF, SIGINT, EW, or tactical communications systems.
  • Experience developing engineering documentation, architecture diagrams, dashboards, and CM baselines. Education and Certification

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Four (4) additional years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education. Special Note The position is contingent upon candidate’s ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.
