LPN / RN - New Port Richey

Company Description Powell Supportive Services, Inc. is a licensed private home care agency licensed by the State of Florida. We service the DD Waiver, ADA Waiver, Cystic Fibrosis Waiver, TBI Waiver and PAC Waiver. The office is open five days a week and we provide on call service 24/7.

Our staff includes experienced Personal Care Aides, Home Health Aides, Massage Therapists, Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses. We assist the elderly and adults with various disabilities to remain in their homes. Job Description Currently looking for LPN's / RN's to work with disabled individuals in their homes.

Work is based on the client's individual case. Documentation must be timely and meet professional standards of practice. Able to assess and communicate with ill patients, co-workers, and general public.

Is neat in appearance and practice, with good personal hygiene. All workers are considered (1099) Independent Contractors.

Qualifications

The following items are required: Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse Liability Insurance Health Statement Level II Background Screen HIV Training CPR / First Aide Bloodborne Patheogens Certificate Alzheimer's Training Any continuing CEU's Additional Information High School Graduation required

• Evidence of sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and carry out directions
• Evidence of maturity and ability to deal effectively with job demands
• Good verbal and written communications skills required
• Attends twelve (12) hours of Aide oriented in services per year
• Participates in professional meetings when directed
• Shall have a criminal history check conducted prior to being offered any position within this agency.
