• Proficiency in Java and high concurrency distributed computing and message processing.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and distributed storage/file systems fundamentals
• Strong Object Oriented
• Design Skills
• BS/
• MS in Computer Science or related field Additional Skills Sought:
• Experience developing high traffic/throughput systems
• Knowledge of scalable, high volume message processing (apache kafka, storm, etc)
• Knowledge of distributed database systems and distributed or shared file systems
• Experience with agile based iterative development and knowledge of software engineering best practices
