Job Description Looking for Software developers with the largest cable company in Seattle, WA. Location: 1000 2nd Ave, Seattle, WA Contract to Hire Opportunity with 2 opening Job Description: Primary Language is Java, other languages also prefferred, Spring, Cloud, Docker and Container experience is required. Skills
- Building Services, ideally robust services
- Don’t use SOAP or Rest, usually Git request with everything on URL utilizing HLS
- Java Stack, Spring
- AWS would be helpful for Infrastructure and deployment, be familiar with how it works
- Some testing responsibilities. Work with Product owner to help define specs
- Not using Databases, but could be useful experience
- Containerizing in Docker, deploying on kubernetes- plus
- Building high performance systems. Ability to identify bottlenecks
- Know how to optimize experience and performance
- Video and/or Advertising experience could be a plus
- 60% coding, 20% testing/automation, 20% helping with infrastructure
Qualifications
- 3-5 years, but can be flexible. Could have less experience or more.
- Interview process/timeline
- Google Hangout Video interview
- Two hour slot. First half hour is phone screen. If goes well will continue into more coding discussion and technical interview. Additional Information Details of the Project

- Both live and VOD streams, Team is also responsible for Front End reflector service
- Decide if you can or cannot watch certain content
- Work together to deliver end user video performance
