Night Watch 3rd shift-Rector Road

Position Hours: Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Initial training scheduled would be weeknights 5:00pm-2:00am, once training completed shift would be 3 days per week, 12 hours shifts and one-half shift, days may vary and include weekends. Position

Responsibilities

• Site inspections-checking doors, buildings, and birds.
• Problem solving alarms.
• Prepping buildings for movements and vaccinations (disinfecting ladders, setting up disinfecting footbaths& bleach sprayer, heling to lock up birds)
• Picking up floor birds.
• Pouring water in buildings to maintain humidity in chick houses.
• Snow removal and salting
• Mixing disinfectant for footbaths, tires baths, testing and refilling.
• Cleaning when no cleaning team present.
• Laundry.
• Run limited equipment as assigned
• Perform daily/weekly calendar cleaning as assigned by management and/or supervisor
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Does not own or maintain routine contact with birds or swine.
• Ability to comply with the strictest standards for animal welfare and to report incidents of abuse , neglect, or breach of biosecurity to preserve the health and welfare of our birds Physical Demands and Work Environment:
• Have the ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors
• The ability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift at least 25 pounds continuously throughout the day.
• Should be comfortable working around moving machinery and working in a farm environment with very dusty conditions. Safety:
