The ideal candidate has experience with CNC plasma cutting or industrial sawing, drilling, and cutting equipment and is comfortable working with large steel materials. Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust machine settings for efficient and accurate production.
• Select the appropriate material type, stock size, and dimensions for each job.
• Measure materials and verify dimensions against design specifications.
• Enter or transfer required part information onto materials.
• Maintain accurate records of production and material usage.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Safely operate overhead cranes and material transfer/convey systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.

Required Qualifications

• Experience operating a CNC plasma table or performing sawing, drilling, or cutting operations.
• Experience with one or more of the following:
• Kinetic Plasma Table
• Peddinghaus Saw/Drill Line
• Peddinghaus Angle Master
• Ficep Beamline
• Experience operating overhead cranes and handling steel materials.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16 inch .
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in both hot and cold environments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, symbols, and notes. Preferred
• Tekla PowerFab experience.
