A Labs Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of multiple tests for Air Thermal Systems manufactured at the SLP plants, as well as for establishing and commissioning new laboratory facilities at the Ramos Arizpe plant. This position will be based at the MEDC (Mexico Engineering and Design Center). On-site position, based in San Luis Potosí during the first years.

Requirements

• Expertise in   interpreting testing standards,   including   ASHRAE 37, AHRI 430, AHRI 390, AHRI 210/240, ISO 13256-1,   among others.
• Ability to independently identify and   resolve laboratory-related issues.
• Define budgets and control expenses.
• Plan consumables and manage laboratory resources.
• Provide leadership , management, and mentorship to the technical team.
• Ensure follow-up and compliance with established test plans.
• Develop and execute training plans on safety topics such as LOTO, HomeSafe, working at heights, and energy control, among others.
• Interpret test data to identify technical issues in equipment.
• Advanced english.
• Experience operating and handling laboratory equipment/instruments.
• Create internal procedures and drive standardization aligned with Plymouth laboratories.
• Build and scale a team from 2 to 6–8 employees over a 2–3 year period.
• Willingness to progressively increase travel, starting with 2–3 trips per year and evolving to more frequent travel between San Luis Potosí and Coahuila, as well as Mexico–U.S. travel.
• On-site position, based in San Luis Potosí during the first years.
