Job description
Overview
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the site. This includes managing staff, ensuring that all processes are running smoothly, and identifying areas for improvement. Full P&L Management will be expected.
The General Manager will work closely with other departments to ensure that the company is meeting its goals and objectives. Shermco Industries is seeking a General Manager Location: Onsite Austin, Texas
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
- Ensure that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently
- Identify areas for improvement and implement new strategies to increase productivity
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure success and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all goals are aligned and met
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws
- Full P&L Responsibility
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in operations management
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws
