Job Summary
Provides administrative support by managing front desk operations, bookkeeping, and coordinating events to ensure smooth daily operations. Bookkeeper
Responsibilities
- Upholds all policies and procedures in the manuals
- Cleanliness and Organization: Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of work space. Staff is expected to schedule 30 minutes at the beginning of shift to ensure cleanliness and organization of work space
- Record and maintain financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a regular basis.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Maintain and organize accounting records and documentation for audits and reviews.
- Monitor and report on cash flow and budgeting activities.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes. Front Desk
Responsibilities
- Greeting and Welcoming Guests: Welcoming visitors, clients, and employees as they arrive, offering assistance, and providing a positive first impression of the organization.
- Answering and Directing Calls: Managing incoming phone calls, transferring calls to the appropriate departments or individuals, taking messages, and providing basic information
- Managing Correspondence: Handling incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and faxes, distributing them to the relevant personnel, and ensuring timely responses.
- Providing Information: Offering information about the organization, services, or products to visitors, clients, and callers.
- Security and Access Control: Monitoring and managing access to the premises, ensuring visitors sign in and out Event Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute church events including productions, conferences, and weddings
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal ministries, vendors, and external clients
- Develop event timelines, schedules, and run-of-show plans
- Coordinate logistics such as venue setup, seating, staging, audio/visual
- Schedule and coordinate volunteers, staff, and ministry teams for events
- Ensure all events align with church values, policies, and safety guidelines
- Oversee event day operations to ensure smooth execution and resolve issues as they arise
