Overview

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient (Indirect Supervision Required) Location: State College, PA Schedule: PRN, as needed, Monday through Friday

Compensation

Hourly rate, $26-$29/hr based on your experience We are seeking an experienced, licensed PRN physical therapist assistant (PTA) to help on an as-needed basis. While our centers typically operate Monday through Friday, our flexible scheduling lets you craft a schedule that's suited to your unique lifestyle! Unique Location/Job Details: Unique: Position is covering as needed in our outpatient orthopedic center in State College.

This is a community based, patient focused outpatient center that sees a diverse patient mix including orthopedics, neuro and sports medicine. Indirect Supervision is required. Why Work With Us?

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
  • Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
  • Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

  • College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
  • Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
  • Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license with Indirect Supervision
