Job description

The Community Investments Analyst is an integral part of the Community Investments operations team engaging collaboratively within the team, department and across Manages the Community Investments financial tracking and reporting, working closely with external financial partners (banking, third-party tax preparer and auditors). Works closely with department team members and Corporate Finance teams in budget management and reporting Leads a best-in-class evaluation strategy by utilizing appropriate research, tools and best practices in ongoing review of non-profit partner/ prospective grantee financials. Creates models that assist leaders in making business decisions, effectively communicating trends and outcomes to senior management and/or stakeholders.

Drives complex results analysis, using business acumen and analytical ability to lead the team in identifying business drivers of results and communicating them effectively to management. Acts as a subject matter expert on any requests for metrics and/or reporting on the overall impact of Community Investment decisions. Leads or manages visible, complex projects or analyses to help drive decisions in line with the philanthropy strategy.

Uses project management tools to build comprehensive plans and ensure the successful and timely completion of project objectives. Advances the organization`s technical expertise and capability for innovation by sharing best practices and coaching others in problem-solving and addressing business challenges in a positive way. Leads or participates in department projects and continuous improvement activities that increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Identifies opportunities for improvement and develops solutions to problems in processes that may span beyond the scope of own team`s responsibilities.
