Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography scans using specialized equipment-
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures- Position patients correctly for optimal imaging results- Operate X-ray and other medical imaging equipment-
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide diagnostic evaluation of mammograms-
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines-
• Provide patient education regarding the mammography process

Qualifications

Valid certification as a Mammography Technologist- Proficient in performing mammography scans and interpreting results-

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to mammography-
• Familiarity with other imaging modalities such as CT, PET scan, and X-ray-
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including emergency room settings-
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in image capture and documentation-
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals Salary: $55-$65 an hour
