Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform mammography scans using specialized equipment-
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures- Position patients correctly for optimal imaging results- Operate X-ray and other medical imaging equipment-
- Collaborate with radiologists to provide diagnostic evaluation of mammograms-
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines-
- Provide patient education regarding the mammography process
Qualifications
Valid certification as a Mammography Technologist- Proficient in performing mammography scans and interpreting results-
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to mammography-
- Familiarity with other imaging modalities such as CT, PET scan, and X-ray-
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including emergency room settings-
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in image capture and documentation-
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals Salary: $55-$65 an hour
