Proctors for Touro University Physician Assistant Program

Overview

Work alongside course faculty to proctor in-person examinations in classrooms and/or auditoriums and proctor 1-1 or small groups of special students receiving disability-related accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside TU-PA course faculty to proctor in-person examinations in classrooms and/or auditoriums
• Proctor 1-1 or small groups of students receiving disability-related accommodations
• Be familiar with academic integrity protocols -- e.g. distance, seating, focused attention, exam start/stop time policies
• Be able to confront and report suspected behaviors allegedly in violation of integrity rules

Qualifications

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

• Sensitivity in communications with faculty, students, and other staff
• Ability to follow integrity protocols to be shown
• Comfort an occasional need to confront and report suspicious behavior
• Collaborative working style
• Work experience in any educational or administrative capacity Work Conditions
• Able to lift up to 5 lbs.
• Extensive time sitting and standing Maximum Salary USD $25.00/Hr. Minimum Salary USD $20.00/Hr.
