Job Description Role: Senior Cloud Engineer Location: Phoenix, AZ; Columbus, OH; Dallas, TX Job Type: Contract Interview: Phone/Skype Pay Rate: $66/hr C2C Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with 10+ years of experience to design, build, and operate enterprise‑grade cloud platforms. The role is hands‑on, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure and working knowledge of AWS, supporting scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions. Required Skills &

• Experience 10+ years of IT experience, with 7+ years in cloud engineering roles
• Proven experience supporting enterprise and production environments Technical Skills
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure (primary)
• Working knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, VPC) Azure services: Virtual Machines, App Services, AKS, Networking, Storage, Identity (Entra ID) Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates CI/CD: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Git workflows Containers & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS preferred) Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, or Python Monitoring & operations: Azure
• Monitor, Log Analytics (or equivalent)

Nice to Have

Azure or AWS certifications Experience in regulated or large enterprise environments

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure primarily on Azure, with some workloads on AWS.
• Build and manage cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Bicep / ARM).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Deploy and operate Azure services across compute, networking, storage, identity, and platform layers.
• Ensure cloud solutions meet security, compliance, availability, and performance standards. Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud and infrastructure issues; perform root‑cause analysis.
• Optimize environments for cost, performance, and reliability using cloud‑native tools.
• Contribute to technical documentation, standards, and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other engineers as a senior IC. What are the Mandatory skills and skill proficiencies required for this position?
