Job description

Overview

A family on the UES is seeking a top-notch nanny for their 2 young children ages 3-years-old and 5-months-old. The role is full-time and live-out. The schedule is Monday through Thursday 8am-6pm (40 hours) with an option to work Fridays 8am-1pm (and at times, nanny may be requested to work this day/hours so must have flexibility to at least work this day on occasion and overtime will be paid).

The toddler is in preschool and camp 5 days a week from 8:30am-12:30pm, has lunch there, comes home to nap around 1pm-2:30pm so the primary care is for the baby from 8:30am-12:30pm and then a few hours with both after toddler's naptime. The role begins August 3rd but they do have some flexibility. The parents have flexible work schedules and may occasionally work from home.

They are looking for a nanny who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the children’s daily routine while collaborating with involved parents. They value a low tech home. No AirPods or excessive phone use during work hours.
