  • Experience 6 yrs. Max Salary Not Mentioned Employment Type Direct Jobs (Full Time) Domain Any Description GC can apply ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * Designs core application frameworks for complex project that can be reused across the organization. *
  • Create technical specification documents based on the business requirements *
  • Develop code that meets the client's coding standards and guidelines *
  • Work in Agile or Waterfall development environment and should be able to respond to changes quickly *
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to application development teams throughout all the phases of the SDLC. * Defines development tasks, assigns tasks to development team, and monitors and reports status of development tasks. * Mentors and trains less-experienced software development staff. * Ensures that software meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements. *
  • Support QA testing and UAT.
  • Work with the QA/user team to address the defects logged on the integrated code *
  • Perform other duties as assigned KEY QUALIFICATIONS: *
  • Bachelor's
  • Degree in information technology (i.e. Computer Science or Computer Information Science with programming concentration) or significant training and coursework in core technologies * 4+ years of overall development experience with at least 3 years of experience in Java/J2EE technology *
  • Strong object-oriented design skills and programming experience *
  • Solid understanding of Java/J2EE *
  • Experience developing and architecting object-orientated applications in Java *
  • Experience with web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, JSON, XML, XSD, XSLT, etc. *
  • Experience using one or more of the following frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, Struts, JSF *
  • Experience with web application servers (Tomcat/WebSphere/WebLogic) *
  • Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and both SOAP and REST based web services *
  • Experience with writing SQL Queries *
  • Demonstrated proficiency in designing distributed applications involving multiple operating systems, languages and vendor middleware PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: *
  • Experience with Guidewire Software Suite (specifically ClaimCenter) using GOSU is preferred *
  • Experience with the IBM AS/400 platform and RPGILE programming is a plus * Insurance specially Claims experience is a plus Additional Information Multiple Openings for GC/Citizen
