Job description

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Duties include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, handling trash removal, distributing linens, performing basic floor care, and supporting light maintenance tasks, including seasonal snow removal as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
  • Remove trash and recyclables in a timely manner
  • Distribute and manage clean linens
  • Perform basic floor care (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and spot cleaning)
  • Assist with light maintenance duties as assigned
  • Support snow removal efforts during winter months
  • Follow safety and infection control protocols at all times

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of housekeeping or related experience required
  • Experience with floor care equipment and techniques preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods

Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
