This role involves administering prescribed radiation treatments to patients, most commonly as part of cancer care, using advanced medical equipment. The radiation therapist works closely with oncologists and the healthcare team to accurately position patients, follow detailed treatment plans, and ensure safety and precision. Compassionate patient support and careful documentation are essential throughout the treatment process.
Requirements
- Two years of experience required
- Flu Vaccine Required - No Exemptions
- Certificates Required: ARRT R, BLS, SC Radiation Therapist State License
- 1-year minimum experience with EPIC EMR required Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 7am to 3.30pm
