Overview
Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists, a division of Sentara Medical Group, is recruiting a full-time Physician Anesthesiologist to join the team at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital (SNGH) , a 525-bed tertiary care facility. SNGH is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads and serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School. SNGH offers a broad and diverse case mix, including general, pediatric, gynecologic, orthopedic, plastic, podiatry, urology, and ENT surgeries. We are proud to be recognized as a Magnet-designated hospital for nursing excellence. SNGH is also an accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and is nationally recognized for excellence in neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, urology, spine care, advanced imaging, behavioral health, maternity, and women’s care, including a state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care unit. About Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists is a premier group of highly trained anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) serving more than 15,000 patients annually across hospitals in Hampton Roads. All physicians are board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, and CRNAs are certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care using objective quality metrics to ensure excellence in clinical outcomes, safety, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
