1st Shift-General Production Manager-Humboldt, TN

Job Details:

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
• 3 +   years   of   experience in a   manufacturing   supervisory role   or 2+ years of Tyson supervisory experience .
• Familiarity with processing floor operation s   preferred.
• HACCP certification   and a basic   understanding   of   HACCP principals and the ability to perform CCP monitoring verification   preferred.
• K nowledge of fresh   meats   processing   preferred .
• Physical

Requirements

• Must be able to access all areas of the production floor to conduct audits and inspections   using f ixed ladders ,   stairs   steps ,   etc.
• A ble to tolerate environmental conditions   in the area of   responsibility . T he temperature in   most of the   areas range from 28 ° -45 ° Fahrenheit.
• Computer Skills:
• Basic computer skills.
• Communication Skills:
• Good written and verbal communication skills .
• Able to communicate with all levels of management.
• Special Skills:
• Team - leader ,   problem - solving ,   and motivation to take on special projects.
• Supervisory:
• Responsible for all   p roduction   o perations at the facility . This   includes managing all production supervisors ’   department s,   production schedules ,   product rotation ,   CCP verification schedules ,   and overseeing   the   safety committee . This role   includes responsibility to review team members in these roles and develop   and   improve   in any   deficient areas.
• Travel:
