• Design electrical systems at the product level, including component selection, thermal considerations, mechanical packaging concepts, and interconnection hardware .
• Develop power and control circuits for switchboards and other power distribution equipment.
• Apply electrical engineering principles across analog/digital circuitry, magnetics, and thermal systems .
• Create engineering specifications, schematics, Bills of Materials (BOMs) , and other design documentation.
• Support integration and qualification of third-party devices into power distribution products.
• Participate in hardware design reviews and evaluate product robustness.
• Develop and support test procedures, technical reports, manufacturing documentation, and customer materials.
• Provide sustaining engineering support for both new and existing power protection systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and subsystems using hands-on diagnostic methods.
• Assist with product safety certifications and testing through NRTL organizations , including UL, CSA, and IEC standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD drafting software .
• Experience designing power distribution equipment such as PDU, STS, RPP, and switchboards .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using electrical laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and signal generators .
• Knowledge of three-phase electrical systems and power systems .
• Strong technical writing, documentation, and communication skills.
• Strong laboratory, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
