Sr Cloud Engineer

Job Description A Bachelor's degree (Information Systems, Computer Science) or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years’ experience with supporting Windows server operating systems Minimum 5 years’ experience with supporting server images hosted by a cloud provider, in particular Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure or other cloud technologies

• Knowledge and understanding of web server concepts and technologies required.
• Solid grasp of network concepts, configuration, routing.
• Understanding of SAN and NAS technologies. Familiar with DB server configurations including Oracle RAC and Marklogic on RHEL Cluster with GFS.
• Experience with the management of virtual machines hosted on VMware ESX. M and T series systems along with Solaris virtualization (LDOMS, Zones).
• Understanding of HPSA configuration management.
• Experience with Windows performance monitoring and tuning.
• Advanced Windows troubleshooting and analysis.
• Solid interpersonal, communication and follow up skills (verbal and written) required.
• Ability to define, analyze and resolve issues both effectively and efficiently in a high-pressure production environment. Key Technologies: High-Availability Backup and Recovery Amazon Web Services (AWS) Azure Networking and Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) Infrastructure as Code Scripting (shell, Java, Python, Perl, Ruby, Puppet, Jenkins, powershell)
