Overview

A private family is seeking an experienced, highly professional Temporary Live-In Butler or Executive Housekeeper to support them while visiting the United States from July 25th through August 25th. This is a one-month, live-in assignment covering for the principal's regular butler, who could not accompany them on this trip. The estate is located in Bel-Air, CA, and the accommodations consist of a private guest house on the property. The successful candidate will provide discreet, attentive service with a strong emphasis on wardrobe management and personal service while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism. The schedule will vary according to the family’s requirements, and there will be a guarantee of a minimum of 40 hours per week. Additional hours may be required depending on the family’s schedule. Flexibility is paramount. The principal and family are exceptionally kind, respectful, and accustomed to a very high standard of professional service. Candidates should be comfortable working within a household that observes Muslim customs and traditions, including:

Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to:

• Full wardrobe management, including:
• Packing and unpacking luggage
• Garment care and organization
• Pressing and steaming clothing
• Outfit preparation and wardrobe presentation
• Ensuring clothing and accessories are maintained to an exceptional standard
• Assist the principal with day-to-day personal requirements as needed
• Non-alcoholic beverage service
• Provide discreet hospitality to guests when appropriate (including greeting family members and female guests in accordance with the family's cultural preferences)
• Maintain the principal's private areas to impeccable standards as they relate to wardrobe and personal belongings
• Work collaboratively with the principal's travelling assistant, trainer, and wider household staff

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a butler, valet, or wardrobe manager within a private household

Benefits

The family is offering $50 to $65 per hour, depending on experience, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
