Position
Overview
Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a full-time Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join our established, collaborative, and growing team at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA. The ideal candidate will be board certified/board eligible in Cardiology and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology , and skilled in the full spectrum of electrophysiology procedures including device implantation and complex ablations. This is an outstanding opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team that includes general cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, advanced heart failure specialists, and cardiovascular surgeons.

Responsibilities
- Perform electrophysiology consultations and procedures, including pacemaker and ICD implantation, SVT/VT/VF ablations, and atrial fibrillation ablations.
- Collaborate with cardiology and cardiovascular surgery colleagues to ensure optimal patient care.
- Interpret and manage device interrogations and remote monitoring data.
- Participate in shared call responsibilities.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development.
- Provide education and support to medical staff and allied health professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EPIC).
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Cardiac Electrophysiology training programs.
- Board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Georgia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
