Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic government transportation location. Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and offers the opportunity to work with an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity. Each LEO will possess the following minimum qualifications (NO EXCEPTIONS): To be considered, all applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • 2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level)
  • Experience in de-escalation, incident report writing, patrolling in high traffic areas, and communication skills. Pre-Employment

Requirements

  • Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program (must provide credentials upon applying)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 22+ years of age
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

Basic Qualifications

The basic qualifications listed below are representative of the relevant knowledge, skills, and/or experience required in order to be hired. These are requirements that we have determined are the minimum a candidate must have in order to be successful in this role. Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required: Applicant must complete one of the following approved programs:

  • 1. Certified State law enforcement recruit training.
  • 2. Certified County law enforcement recruit training.
  • 3. Federal law enforcement training.
  • 4. Programs approved by the Director.
  • 5. Each LEO will possess the following minimum qualifications:
  • No felony convictions or convictions for abuse of a household member under Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968 (18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(9)) or documented truthfulness infractions in violation of Giglio/Henthorn for federal impeachment proceedings (referring to the decisions in Giglio v. United States, 405 U.S. 105 (1972) and United States v. Henthorn, 931 F. 2d 29 (9th Cir. 1991)). *A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions. Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Must be able to supervise Contractor’s personnel and work effectively with airport management, tenants, other law enforcement agencies and the public on matters relating to security disputes, complaints on the performance, conduct or behavior of subordinate employees. Other related attributes that would enhance hiring consideration: These are other criteria that may enhance the hiring decision but would not rule out the candidate for consideration if not present.
